A postdoctoral research associate position is available at the Division of Bioinformatics and Outcomes Research (BIOR), of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Washington University. The specific project will involve working on data mining and modeling of biological and physical data, analysis of medical images, and numerical optimization for application in radiotherapy treatment informatics. BIOR is a dynamically growing bioinformatics group, including many researchers and collaborators from diverse fields. Opportunities exist in many current and new exciting projects, including statistical modeling of biological processes and treatment outcomes, analysis of biomarkers in different cancer sites, as well as projects involving 4D image guidance and treatment planning optimization. Qualifications:

A PhD degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline is required. Programming skills are required of this position, preferably in Matlab or C/C++.
