Postdoc in France - Particle Theory
Written by LOWONGAN KERJA TERBARU on 08:38Particle Theory phenomenology : beyond the standard model @ LHC The theoretical physics group at the Institut de Physique Nucléaire de Lyon (IPNL) will have a postdoctoral position beginning December 1st 2008. The appointment will be initially for 3 years with possible extension for additional 3 years. The salary will be in the range 2271 - 3430 EUR gross (net salary will be roughly 20% less) according to the experience of the candidate.
The successful candidate is expected to carry out a research program in Particle Theory beyond the standard model in connection with LHC phenomenology. The permanent members of the particle theory group at IPNL are professor Aldo Deandrea, and two CNRS researchers, Sacha Davidson and Giacomo Cacciapaglia. There is also a large LHC experimental group, and a close connections to CERN and Ecole Normale Supérieure of Lyon.
