Steps for Applying


1. Complete the Pre-Admission Application online, making sure to fill
in all required areas and attaching all necessary documents (in Word
or Pdf format): a) Curriculum Vitae , b) Research proposal
(Downloadable format available here), and c) Student List of
publications. You must submit the Pre-Admission Application online
before March 30th 2008.

2. The language of our Ph.D programs is English, except for some
program. Please refer to this link for specific program requirements

3. You will receive a confirmation once your application has been
successfully completed and sent which will also include a link to the
Recommendation Provider page. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation will
be required. Please note that Tor Vergata University reserves the
right to contact Recommenders. (If you do not receive this
confirmation, please check that you entered your data correctly).

4. The Examination Schedule for students accepted to the next round
of the application process will be posted on the Tor Vergata Graduate
School website on May 20th 2008.

5. Those students will then be invited to participate in a Skype
meeting/interview (webcam is request) with a professor from their
desired department of study. (If, however, you will be in Rome for
the interview, please indicate on the Application form under the
heading "Skype account" that you will be attending the interview "IN
PERSON")

6. The University will then contact the students which have been
awarded the Ateneo scholarship (University scholarship). Please do
not contact us. We will contact you.

7. Foreign students who are granted admission to the PhD program but
who are not awarded the Ateneo scholarship must send a copy of their
scholarship along with the other necessary documents to the
administrative office in order to enroll
