USA; Postdoc - Hematology / Oncology

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Section of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago. The postdoctoral Fellow/Scholar will study the function and regulatory pathways of microRNAs and target genes in self-renewal and differentiation of stem cells and in hematopoiesis. The candidate may also have an opportunity to conduct research in the field of leukemia stem cell and/or reprogramming.

This position is available for the candidate who has a strong background on stem cell research. The candidate should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree(s), and be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work in a team environment and with good oral and written communication skills in English.

The joint laboratory of Drs. Jianjun Chen and Janet D. Rowley is well-funded and currently fast expanding. The Fellow/Scholar will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research, network with internationally renowned scientists, and receive outstanding training.
